LCD Soundsystem took home the Grammy for Best Dance Recording for ‘Tonite’, whilst Foo Fighters won Best Rock Song for ‘Run’. Tony Bennett won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Leonard Cohen was posthumously honoured with Best Rock Performance for ‘You Want It Darker’. In the Latin categories, Shakira received Best Latin Pop Album for ‘El Dorado’ and Residente’s self-titled album took home Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album. A host of Sony Music artists also took to the stage at the ceremony. P!nk and SZA gave solo performances of ‘Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken’ and ‘Broken Clocks’ respectively, whilst DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller teamed up with Rihanna to perform ‘Wild Thoughts’. Other artists who performed include Kesha and Camila Cabello, who collaborated with Cyndi Lauper, Julia Michaels, Andra Day and Bebe Rexha for a powerful rendition of Kesha’s ‘Praying’.
